5th HLS braistorming meeting: Who is a heritage speaker?
The 5th Heritage Language Syntax Brainstorming meeting will take place on the 18th of May, 4-5:30 pm CEST.
This will be a special edition of our HLS brainstorming meetings, as it will feature a round table of “keynote” speakers discussing: Who can be categorized as a heritage speaker? Do we need a separate label for HS or is unbalanced bilingual enough? The people who have accepted to participate in our roundtable are:
MCarme Parafita Couto (University of Santiago de Compostela)
Maria Polinsky (UCLA)
Jason Rothman (Lancaster University)
Ianthi Tsimpli (University of Cambridge)
As usual, this will be an informal setting where everyone will be able to ask questions or make comments.
The meeting will take place on MS Teams.
If you would like to participate and are not in our mailing list please send a message and we’ll send you the link.
